Indian Air Force Recruitment Age Limit:
(a) Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years as on 01 January 2022 i.e. born between 02 January 1998 to 01 January 2002 (both dates inclusive). The upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years i.e. born between 02 January 1996 to 01 January 2002 (both dates inclusive).
(b) Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years as on 01 January 2022 i.e. born between 02 January 1996 to 01 January 2002 (both dates inclusive).

Indian Air Force Recruitment Application Fees:
Online testing will be conducted for AFCAT entry at various centers. Candidates registering for AFCAT entry will have to pay an amount of Rs. 250/- (non-refundable) as examination fee. However, candidates registering for NCC Special entry are not required to pay. Details of conduct of exam, examination centers, and mode of payment are available in the notification.

Indian Air Force Recruitment 2020:- The Government Organisation has invited eligible candidates for the posts of Airmen (Group Y – Non-Technical) can apply online Indian Air Force on the website from 17 February 2020 to 19 February 2020. Willing candidates in the Indian Air Force Recruitment 2020 must go through the paragraph given below to know more information such as Age Limit, Qualification, the scale of pay, How to Apply, etc.

Educational Qualification:- Candidate should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Class XII or Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Age Limit:- Enrolment shall be for an initial period of 20 years (subject to condition), which may be extended up to the age of 57 years (subject to service conditions).

Application Fees:- Candidates should visit the official notification for application fee details.

Pay & Allowances: During training, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month shall be paid. On completion of training, the starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay, including Military Service Pay (MSP) shall be Rs. 26,900/- per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable), which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.

Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Med Asst Trade
(a) Physical Fitness Test (PFT). PFT consists of a 1.6 Km run to be completed within 6 minutes 30 seconds. Candidates shall also have to
complete ten push-ups, ten sit-ups, and 20 squats within the stipulated time to qualify in the Physical Fitness Test.
Note: Candidates are advised to bring their sports shoes and shorts/track pant.
(b) Written Test. All candidates who qualify PFT shall undertake the Written Test on the same or subsequent day, depending on the local conditions.
The Written Test will be objective type, and the question paper shall be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for the English paper. Answers are to be annotated on the OMR sheet. A detailed procedure shall be explained before the conduct of the examination. Duration of the written test will be
Forty-five minutes and shall comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA). CANDIDATES ARE
REQUIRED TO QUALIFY IN EACH PAPER SEPARATELY. The results of the written test shall be declared on the same day.
(c) Marking Pattern for Written Test:- (i) 01 mark for every correct answer. (ii) Nil (0) denotes un-attempted questions.
(iii) 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer or choosing more than one option as an answer.
(d) Adaptability Test-1. All candidates who pass the Written Test shall undertake Adaptability Test-1 on the same or subsequent day, depending
on the local conditions. Adaptability Test – 1 is to assess the suitability of a candidate for employment in the IAF, which involves deployment in varied geographic terrain, weather, and operational conditions.
(e) Adaptability Test-2. All candidates who pass Adaptability Test-1 will have to undertake Adaptability Test-2 as per policy in vogue. Adaptability
Test-2 is to select candidates who can adapt to the environment of the Indian Air Force and can adjust to the military way of life.
